In accordance with the new European General Data Protection Regulation GDPR and the UK’s own Data Protection Act 2018 we need to advise you about how we store and what we do with the information you provide during the course of your holiday booking.
These details, such as names, addresses, emails, phone numbers are kept on our secure system for a period of 6 years. Rest assured we will never disclose any of your information to third parties, it is purely for our own records. We use it to verify, for example, if you are eligible for a repeat client discount or to contact you to confirm arrival details etc.
If you would like to see a copy of the information we hold on you please contact us at email@example.com and we will happily supply it. If you do not wish to provide us with any personal information during the booking process that is your right (but it could make booking your holiday and sending you confirmations a little challenging!) In the event that you would prefer us not to retain your information after your stay at the chalet you have every right to ask us to delete it from our system and we will happily do so.
You will find links to several other websites on our site, such as trip advisor and Whiterides. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any data that they may collect from you and would advise you to take notice of their own terms and conditions and privacy policies.
Finally, we would love to be able to get in touch in the event that we run any special offers or competitions, however, if you would like to receive such emails you now have to actively consent to this. We will ask you on your booking form if you are happy for us to contact you for this purpose, obviously feel free to say no!
If you have any questions about any of the above, please do not hesitate to email or call us.
We are available by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone
